Taking your child to ice cream with your wife seemed like an excellent idea. Everyone piled into the van and you head down the street and out of your neighborhood.

When you near the light you begin to slow and signal for a left turn. The light is yellow, then it turns red and you believe that you are safe to complete the turn. You press on the gas and proceed to move into the intersection.

Right as you were making your turn however, you realized that the car coming right for you wasn't going to stop. You made an effort to swerve, but this fell short. The vehicle smashed right into your bumper and sent your own car spinning.

Just as the car stop you look back at your child. She has started crying hysterically. You don't see any evidence of major injuries but you choose to bring her to the doctor nevertheless. The doctor says that a muscle has been pulled in her back, but that after a few weeks of resting she is going to be just fine.

Several weeks pass and her pain persists. Her doctor isn't sure how to proceed. You've tried massages, therapy and medication, but she complains of discomfort non-stop Your boss tells you that you might want to connect with a chiropractor. He says that chiropractors can assist people of all ages.

You call a chiropractor, and after a few visits, your daughter starts to show signs of improvement. She smiles more often, cries less and in many ways she's back to the vibrant, happy toddler she was prior to the incident. If your child is injured in a car accident, don't limit your options for medical care. Call an experienced, knowledgeable chiropractor and make sure your daughter gets the help she needs.
