In society, it is not uncommon to come across people having a variety of conditions. They are varied, and what affects one person may not exactly affect the next one directly. Some cases were reported, whereby the victims are noted to be slower than normal, and the responses they give to environmental stimulus are poor. Coming up with a 504 plan ADHD is a protective strategy to keep them safe from social injustices they have to go through daily.

ADHD is diagnosed to be a genetic condition. It is transferred from parents to the children through the genetic and chromosomal processes. When one is born with it, they are deemed weak and less responsive to their environment. Their social life is, therefore, immensely affected, as they tend to be hurdled just to themselves and hardly associate with others. Due to this, many have been neglected, a move the 504 is up to correct.

When taken to school, the affected kids have it all rough. The kids are mistreated by fellow kids for who they are, a move that works a toll on their esteem and confidence a great deal. The law, therefore, prohibits this unfair treatment of the victims and calls upon all stakeholders to be on the forefront to uphold the rights of these individuals and show them the kindness they deserve.

Even worse, some centers have turned down applications of such students to their institutions. This is devastating, and demoralizing. When the kid learns that their admission was turned down due to the condition they are suffering from despair and lose hope. This can easily prompt suicidal attempts by the victims, which should be prevented. Thanks to the plan, today admissions are done on merit and not on the condition an applicant is suffering from.

There has been a derisive process of making teachers aware of how to deal with these children and students. Relating to the normal instance of a normal class, whereby, there are fast and slow learners as well dealing with the calls for different approaches, unless you are not after moving with the class together. When dealing with the affected children, the use of pictures and videos is imperative since it will make them comprehend more than through any other means.

They must have a special form of assessment. This is usually the ultimate point of teaching, and expecting all of them to write down answers to tests is not advisable. There are those who can, but it should be clear that the rest can speak out what they know since writing is almost impossible with them.

Some time back, many devastated and terrified guardians tended to hide their affected children indoors. They were afraid of what the society will think of them, and say behind their backs. They indeed feared the prejudice, discrimination, and unfair treatment of mean members of the society. However, this is no longer the case as they have a protector in the formulated plan.

Parents are called upon to take their children for testing while still at a tender age. This makes it easy to detect the condition, and the treatment offered makes some impact faster than at an older age. When the correction commences while still young, they tend to recover from it faster than when they are older. Therefore, the sooner you discover this, the easier and faster it will be eliminated.
