Best Funding Methods For Brain Tumor Research

By Rob Sutter

Brain tumor research has recently piqued my attention because of just how much attention individuals have given to it. I believe that this is a case which individuals should put more of a focus on, especially when it has so much support given already. I believe that when it comes to conditions worth supporting, this one is one of the greatest. When you see people coming together in order to help a certain matter, you can be certain that the good of individuals shines through.

Santa Cruz Sentinel posted an article regarding a man name Nick Doan, who had been battling cancer. The thirty-three year old construction worker was diagnosed with glioblastoma two months ago and it's especially serious when you consider that the tumor is located in the part of the brain which controls the usage of language. It's clear that this is a serious case. However, what's even more serious is just how quickly the community united in order to lend a hand to Doan; a uplifting piece of news, to be certain.

The story of this group coming together to help one person is rather uplifting. It shows that people within a certain community can perform strong acts for someone in need. While the story of Doan is great, it definitely opens up the possibility of more actions being taken in order to help awareness become much more prominent. Looking at a variety of examples, what if an organization decided to hold a benefit concert for the sake of raising money to go towards a particular cause?

This is just one idea that has been exercised by organizations like Voices against Brain Cancer and there are many others which are quite fitting, too. After all, brain tumor research is not the kind of subject which should be limited, even in the slightest. What if an athletic event was held, even if it was something as simple as a run? It could definitely bring a sense of enjoyment forth and those who are driven to help the cause will be the ones to lend a hand.

To say that brain tumor research has earned a great deal of attention recently would be nothing short of an understatement. To me, it's perhaps the best cause to give support to, especially when you see just how many people back this as well. They understand that their efforts will have an impact, even if it's something as the simplest change made to a therapy method. When it comes to the causes which can gain attention, it's hard for me to find one more worthy than this one.
