After that, you still need to take another three to four years to learn diagnosing and treating certain condition related to hormones. Furthermore, you must also obtain a license as part of your requirement to practice medicine.

You also need to take your courses from an accredited school before you take the licensing exam. You are also required to obtain your certification, since endocrinology is a specialty. This is important for you to practice your profession. You can obtain your certificate if you have completed your eduction as well as your residency training.
