* Meal Times - eat 3 meals each day and you will be more unlikely to snack.

* Scale back Fat - check food labels and decide on low-fat items, grill rather than fry food and cut off any excess fat.

* Snack Check - plenty of treats are high in calories, fat, sugar and salt, so offer healthier options like items from your nearby supermarket's own healthier food range.
