Kettlebell Exercises Are Cost-Effective

By Michele Moncrieffe

Kettlebell weight training might be the least likely form of exercise but the results show that kettlebells and use of the weights amount to physical results. In no small part to this form of exercise, weight loss has been reported in addition to the tightening of body parts to be fitter. Despite the results, kettlebells, similar to dumbbells in a sense, are generally not used as much as typical weight training such as with the use of barbells and free weights. A session of training, though, will be the fix to the question, "what are kettlebells?"

Perhaps the most attractive aspect of kettlebell workouts is the shortage of gym costs. While many people devote hundreds, if not thousands, of dollars to become a gym member, the use of two kettlebells alone helps make the body stronger. The intensity of the workouts is great when one keeps in mind how the weights are shaped. Kettlebells are shaped like kettles, hence the name, with a weight attached to a curved handle not unlike the item one would use to provide tea. The question of, "what are kettlebells," can simply be answered at that.

The weight loss results address for themselves in the form of various success stories as well. For instance, a marathon athlete, Guy Bedard, once had to stand down when a knee injury took him out. After gaining over fifty pounds of weight, he underwent a training program applying kettlebell weights. In just eight weeks, he was able to lose 21 pounds thanks to the session. Success stories such as these make the possibility of kettlebell weights all the more appealing.

Another great thing about training with kettlebell weights is that you can exercise without taking up a lot of space. Exercisers, like Lorna can do pushups, squats, swings, and walking lunges with twenty repetitions per set without having to utilize an entire room for the workout. So you don't have to have a workout room when you are training with kettlebells. All you really need is some personal space to loss those extra pounds.

Kettlebell training has many advantages and while there exist people who undergo said training, it's still not the phenomenon it has the potential to be. With an easy-to-use ritual anyone can get into, it's baffling how no one seems to want to take the plunge. Results can be unearthed in weeks after taking of taking on the routine. The fact that kettlebells, which are about as condensed as dumbbells, can be used in close quarters is only another factor to add to the already attractive list of reasons to take on training.
