Cleansing the Gallbladder

By Casey Leblanc

The organ in your body that holds the body's waste is the gallbladder. The gallbladder also has the function of helping in food digestion.

Eating a lot of junk foods which are fried, oily, and fatty can hurt the body. That is because the oils and fats stay in the liver and gallbladder. When enough time has passed, these oils and fats become gallstones.

If the process of gallbladder stones continues accumulating, you could face health problems down the road. At that point, many people resort to surgery to clear out the gallbladder stones.

Using surgery to clear out gallbladder stones can be a painful and expensive procedure. Many people have turned to cheaper and alternative ways to deal with gallbladder stones.

One of these alternative ways is to do a gallbladder cleanse. A gallbladder cleanse can be done at home and you do not need expensive medicine or devices to do it.

Before you start doing a gallbladder cleanse, you should consult your physician and find out if you are capable of doing such a remedy. Do not attempt to do the flush before talking to your doctor.

First, you need to buy some materials for the gallbladder cleanse. Go to your supermarket and pick up a bottle of apple cider, Epsom salt, olive oil, and some lemons.

The entire process of the gallbladder cleanse should take 7 days. During the first 6 days, you should drink the apple cider daily.

At the end of the 6th day, prepare a mixture of olive oil with lemon juice. The mixture amount should be 2/3 olive oil and 1/3 lemon juice. Drink this olive oil mixture before going to bed.

In the morning mix some warm water with Epsom salt in a cup and drink down this mixture. This natural laxative will help you excrete waste along with the gallstones.

In the beginning you should try to do the gallbladder cleanse once a month. After a few months you can do it less frequently as you see fit.
