Cristiano Ronaldo has a great body, and it's understandable that he is being emulated by a great deal of guys who want to know exactly how he got in such great physical shape. You can safely assume that in order to look like that you would have to lose a significant amount of body fat. Even if you are in fairly decent shape now, you will still probably have to do some considerable work to get to such a low body fat percentage. Plus, you can't neglect the weight training in the process. Even though you wouldn't be looking to add a ton of bulk, he still has so much muscle. Not to mention the fact that it is totally defined and chiseled to perfection.

Basically, you will have to combine your efforts in the weight room along with a specific diet plan in order to get to this sort of an end result. Before you were to even get started, you would need to identify with the fact that getting a body like Cristiano Ronaldo is something that requires a strong will and dedication. Make sure you are up to the challenge before you take the first step.

Determine where you are starting from, first of all. You won't be able to just do the same workout that he did and get to his results, because you have a completely different starting point. As stated earlier, you will most likely have some fat loss to take care of first. If you don't, you will find it quite pointless to work on your muscles, since they will barely be seen when you have body fat lying on top of them. Start by eating small low calorie meals as frequently as 5-7 times a day. Include protein in every meal.

Your body will use a lot of energy breaking the protein down, so it will then turn to stored fat for the energy, When you are in the weight room, keep the weight lighter and lift more reps. When it comes to your cardio, definitely do some high intensity cardio four times a week. The high intensity workouts will speed up your resting metabolic rate so that you will be burning fat and calories even when you are doing nothing at all!

When you have managed to rid your body of a substantial amount of fat, you may choose to add more muscle. You may not, as you may be perfectly content where you are. If so, just work on muscle definition by continuing your efforts in the weight room. However, if you feel the need for more muscle you can always increase the weight while decreasing the amount of reps. For your diet, you will focus on protein and carbs while eating 7 small meals a day. Be sure to always eat before and after each workout. Obtaining a physique like Cristiano Ronaldo won't be the easiest thing that you've ever done, but the rewards will make all of your determination and hard work pay off!
