The pleasure of gestation can be overshadowed by some of the general aches and pains of a growing belly and changing body. One way to combat those aches and pains is by staying well rested. Unfortunately, this is often an issue for females during pregnancy as well.

During the course of the gestation, the body grows and expands, adding pressure to various joints, which often leaves females uncomfortable, especially while sleeping. Numerous women find themselves just "going with it", when it comes to insomnia.

Keeping a regular sleeping schedule is recommended, as it trains the body to associate certain times of the day with rest or sleep.
