To determine whether you have cool or warm skin tones, check out the veins on the inside of your wrist. If you have cool skin, the veins will appear bluish in color. If you have warm skin, they will have a greenish tint instead. Cool skin tones look best in cool colors, such as blue and purple, whereas warm skin tones, look best in warm colors like red, yellow and orange.

Put Vaseline on your eyebrows before you go to sleep. This will make your eyebrows look better and shiny. You don't have to use that much Vaseline, just enough for a thin layer on your brows. Avoid getting Vaseline anywhere else on your face because it can cause unwanted acne breakouts.

To make small eyes appear larger, try lining your lower waterline with a white or peach colored eyeliner. By lightening the color of your waterline so it blends better with the white part of your eye, you can create the illusion that your eyes are larger and brighter than they really are.

Use eye drops to liven up your face. Tired eyes can bring down your whole look. Keep a small bottle of eye drops in your bag and use them periodically, especially when sitting in front of your computer. They will not only freshen up your eyes, but make them sparkle too.

To keep your skin looking fresh and flawless, make sure you drink plenty of water each day. Dehydration can take a toll on your skin, leaving it looking dull, dry and wrinkled. You can combat this problem by making sure you drink at least 8 glasses of water each day. If you don't like the taste of water, try flavoring it with a slice of lemon or splash of cranberry juice to make it more palatable. Your skin will thank you for it.

Let your hair cool off after blow drying it. Letting your hair cool will help set your hair style. If your hair has a hard time holding any style try using hairspray while blow drying it, using curling irons or hot rollers. This will ensure your hairstyle stays put.

Get your sleep to keep yourself looking beautiful. Do not underestimate the power of scarce sleep to age your face, and your body. You need from six to eight hours of sleep a night to rejuvenate your body, skin, and brain. All are important elements in your overall personal health.

Use Vaseline on your feet at night. This will make them soft and smooth, like you just had a pedicure done. You can add this to your nightly beauty ritual to make it easier to remember. You should apply the Vaseline and then cover your feet with your socks before you go to sleep.

Use a moisturizer on your face. Even if you have oily or greasy skin, you should make sure you use a moisturizer on our face. If you don't like to wear one during the day, you can wear it at night. Be sure to use a moisturizer with an SPF in it.
