Natural Eyelash Conditioners for eyelash growth

By Melanie A. Thompson

Eyes are the mirror of the soul and what better way to enhance them than by having long, thick eyelashes. But, many of us are not blessed with naturally long and thick eyelashes and an eyelash growth conditioner comes in handy in this case. And even if you are lucky to have thick, full eyelashes, you need an eyelash conditioner to maintain them.

Though a variety of eyelash conditioners are available in the market, the age old Grandmas formulas too come in handy for those who wish to avoid chemicals. Jojoba oil has been found to give excellent results if applied regularly as it conditions the hair follicles which are responsible for new growth. Olive oil too has also been known to arrest falling and brittle eyelashes.

If however, these natural remedies do not suit someone, buying readymade conditioners are another option. Only make sure that Latanoprost and Bimatoprost are included in the list of eyelash conditioner ingredients. Though eyelash growth is stimulated with the application of these conditioners it depends upon the individual growth pattern whether results will be visible in a few days or a few weeks.

Another popular eyelash conditioner is Ultracil which is both gentle yet effective on the eyelashes.

Eyelash conditioners are usually applied in the night with the help of a brush. But like for anything chemically made, it is best not to use it for a prolonged period to avoid harmful side effects. It is better to restrict it to some special occasions but, remember to start applying it a few days before the event.

The hair on our scalp needs to be cared for; so too with eyelashes. These are fragile and as age advances become brittle and weak. The eyelashes start to fall off. Systematic use of eyelash growth conditioner (those with chemical base only for a fixed time) will restore its vitality and give the individual long and thick eyelashes " the envy of others.
